Reilly Education Law 

Karen Reilly has worked for more than 20 years as an attorney in various leadership roles, including as Partner at Kessler Topaz Meltzer & Check, representing defrauded shareholders in high profile national securities class actions. She also has extensive trial experience in federal and state courts related to various civil matters. Karen now focuses her efforts on representing children with special needs.

Karen earned her J.D. from Pace University School of Law where she was a member of the Moot Court Board and National Moot Court Team and earned her B.A. in Political Science from SUNY College at Purchase. She is licensed to practice in New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Rhode Island and admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, District of New Jersey, Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the District of Connecticut.
Karen is a member of the Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates (“COPAA”), and the Philadelphia and Pennsylvania Bar Associations.

Benjamin J. Hinerfeld

OF COUNSEL
Benjamin Hinerfeld has extensive experience representing parents and children under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act and the Rehabilitation Act. Since 2009, he has worked with the Public Interest Law Center of Philadelphia (“PILCOP”), representing low-income parents and children in cases seeking system-wide change to special education programs. He earned his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, and a B.A. from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY. He is admitted to the state bars of New York, New Jersey, Delaware and Pennsylvania.

David J. Perlman

David Perlman comes to Reilly Education Law with extensive advocacy and appellate practice experience. David received a J.D. from Temple University, a M.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, and a B.A. cum laude from Middlebury College.
